St. Patrick’s Day

We had fun preparing for St. Patricks Day this year. Jamison was intricate in his design and contruction of his trap for the Leprechauns…but alas, those sneaky tricksters got away, but the pain was eased by the chocolate coins they left behind.  They did make mischief, those little green guys.  They turned the milk and toilet water green, made a mess in the kitchen, stole lots of marshmallows from the Lucky Charms, but we will try again next year.  Jamison is already designing his trap…

We spent the morning at the museum, and the afternoon playing outside…Jamison is always moving too fast to catch in a picture…and Zoë says,

The Progression of Paige

Beauty and the Beast

The Broadway Show Beauty and the Beast was on tour and recently came to a nearby city.  Mom and SiSi went on a mother daughter date with some good friends to see the show.  We loved it, of course!

Tiny

So remember that post…about the truck having plenty of room?  Friends and Family from afar keep askin’…so here goes.  We got a new van, which SiSi has dubbed “Tiny”.  It is a 2011 Mercedes Sprinter.  I. am. in. love. It took some nerves of steel to get me to agree to our blind date, but it was love at first sight.  I had to get over my pride of what Sully looked like (my name for the blue benz)…but NOW we have plenty of room…for your family AND mine!  Our family has named this blue monster Sully, Blue Bell, the van, Babe, and the list goes on…..

Please note the strategic placement of my darling children.  No hitting, pinching, pulling hair, and kicking allowed! :)

White Christmas

A White Christmas in North Carolina!  The first in my life.

Jason pulled the kids in a sled on the four wheeler.  To say it was a hit is an understatement!  They stayed out for almost three hours…a record for my kids.  What a fun day in the snow!

Brotherly Love

Jamison is alone in a very girlie world in our home.  He has the heart of a giant, but is often so frustrated with the girlie girl sisters of his.  He craves blue, and boy, and rough and tumble things.  But he knows what they like.  Babies.  Dolls.  Doggies and dress up.  He made his three sisters cloth dolls for gifts.  Very girlie. And he thought long and hard about what each one would like, which ribbon screamed ‘Paige’ or which fabric was softest for Zoë.  Shiny things were for SiSi.  He even thought about the fact that googlie-eyes were not safe for Zoë, and drew hers on.  This moment, where I spent time watching him LOVE, and think of his sisters preferences and desires, made my heart melt for this sweet BOY of mine…and I fell in love with him and being his mommy all over again.  Here is some proof of his brotherly love.

Cute Kids

I kept thinking all day how much I LOVE my kids.  How much I enjoy them. How cute they are.

I kept thinking all evening about how much I LOVE my kids, but I also really LOVE their bedtime.  Enough said. :)

When You Wish Upon A Star…

The day before Thanksgiving Dad bought our family tickets to go on a Disney Cruise!  That Saturday we left on our trip, and what a magical trip it was!
