What you don't know is I was doing a one man show of "the human emotional responses" that night. I had different kids asleep at different earlier times, only to be woken up again by a sibling. I would rotate through anger, indifference, defeat, loving and happy, gentle, etc. etc. etc. only to return to anger again. It was "quite the evening". They are happening more frequently lately. (insert groan.)
Well, you seem to take it all in stride. By the way...you are capturing some good blackmail footage lately! I am sure Sierra will love you sharing this clip when she is older.
Like I have said before, you need to start another blog, for venting purposes, and call it "The Poop Diaries". I love you! You really ARE doing a good job.
last night at 9:43 shaelyn was thrashing around on her bed throwing the biggest temper tantrum of her life. i'm not even really sure what set it off, other than being really tired and refusing to go to sleep. this weekend we had some friends stay with us who have two kids, and i got a glimpse into your life with three munchkins in the house 24/7 for almost 3 days. bedtime, naptime, eating time, everything was a disaster. and fun! you are a rock star. please tell me your calling is like relief society greeter or something like that.
Well, this made me feel better. I happened to be listening to the sweet screams of my wee one tonight. We are weaning and cutting teeth at the same time-- a bad combo, but it is nice to know it has only just begun... :)
Oh my goodness! I'm laughing and shaking my head at the same time. What a crazy night! Good thinking to record it. Helps you to see the humor in it and not go buzurk!!xoxoxo Amee
This is so how it goes down over here too... when bed time arrives, suddenly he is so hungry or so thirsty, or he has to go potty....LOL kids are hilarious! oh and I love how the baby is eating the toilet seat..This is just too fern cute!!!
