Memorial Day Weekend

I done been deep-fried.

This weekend has been a wild one, but fun. Friday morning we were headed to Dan Nicolas Park, so mom slathered sunscreen on me. Little did I know it would cause quite a bit of commotion all weekend long. I had a very bad reaction! However, thepark was a blast, as we had an end of the year party with our Mommy and Me Group. I am so sad it is over! At the park we rode the train, visited the petting zoo, rode the carosel, and played in the water fountains.

After lunch we packed up and headed to our land in Virginia to go camping. I LOVE camping!

When I awoke the next morning, my eyes were swollen shut. The picture at the top is of me after a huge dose of Benadryl. The swelling and funky texture freaked out my mom, but dad was chill. I still got plenty of time in the creek.

Sunday our whole family got together. This does not happen very often, so it was a big occasion. We had fun introducing Paige to Uncle Joseph and Aunt Katie, and snuggling with Jill and Jacob too, however short the visit was.

Monday morning we had a fun time at a 5K at our church. Our mommy ran! She was thrilled she finished, though there are no pictures to prove her accomplishment.

That afternoon we went to a cookout at our friends, the Fredericks. Maia is Paige's friend, so I thought you would like to see the cute girls together: (I don't know why it is sideways...)

We had fun playing and eating with our friends. I decided the skin mutation was not a big enough deal, so I decided to fall off of their playset, and land on my head. It only broke a bunch of blood vessels on my face and scalp, and not any bones or my neck (thank goodness!)

SO- what a weekend...I think I want to stay home for a few days.
