We really began labor day weekend with Joseph's party, but the highlight for my brother seemed to be that HE TURNED 2! On Saturday it was his true birthday, and though we didn't make a huge deal about it since he is having a different party (we don't want him thinking he is always the center of attention), mom did throw a couple candles in a cupcake for him to blow out.
We spent the day Saturday at a Smith Family Labor Day Reunion. It was fun and relaxing, and good to spend time with all those relatives that think I'm cute. I spent the day cruising the town. No, that's a lie. I did like my distant cousin's tractor though. I am a true farm girl.
Dad took me for a spin on a real ride. I thought my YaYa was going to have a heart attack. She surprised us all though, for when we went camping later that weekend, SHE not only rode, but DROVE a four-wheeler. Mom muttered a bunch under her breath....something about how YaYa always forbid fourwheelers and yada yada yada. Grown-ups are silly with all their talk.
Happy like always, ~Sierra
